WE RAISE AWARENESS AMONG OUR TEAMS AND CUSTOMERS:

• On the challenges of sustainable tourism, environmental preservation and CSR
• Our teams are trained in the eco-gestures to be observed in their daily tasks.
• We choose our service providers and suppliers on the basis of their sustainable and social commitments.
• On our website, we provide our customers with information and links concerning animal and plant species in the surrounding area.
• We offer information on how to limit car travel: bike hire/loan, shuttles, public transport.
• We have been awarded the “Accueil Vélo” label, and can also provide our customers with storage space.

WE SAVE WATER AND ENERGY:

• We have installed water economizers/pressure reducers on taps and showers so as not to deplete resources.
• We read our gas, water and electricity meters every month to better manage our consumption.
• All our light bulbs are LED or low-energy bulbs, and we have already fitted over 90% of our lighting.
• We have installed presence detectors and timers in common areas and corridors to limit energy wastage.

WE LIMIT AND SORT WASTE :

• We have set up several selective sorting points.
• We work with a majority of bulk or large-pack products to limit unnecessary packaging.
• We offer certain welcome products only on request, to reduce the production of packaging waste.
• We have set up displays to help our customers sort in accordance with local regulations.

WE CARE ABOUT THE WELL-BEING OF OUR CUSTOMERS:

• Our breakfast buffets feature local produce sourced directly from producers.
• Our breakfast and restaurant menus feature organic and/or fair-trade products.
• Most of the products used to clean our rooms are eco-labelled, which means better air quality and fewer health risks;
• Our establishment is completely non-smoking

• We have partnerships with local recycling centers and donate our old equipment/furniture.

To give concrete expression to our commitment to continuous improvement, we are in the process of obtaining the Clef Verte label.

The Clef Verte label distinguishes tourist accommodation and restaurants committed to a voluntary, effective and dynamic environmental approach. The label is awarded annually by an independent jury of tourism and environmental experts and professionals.
